Fort Snelling State Park – Hiking Club

July 2017

The hubs and I decided to go out on our first hiking club trail a couple weeks ago and since Fort Snelling is the closest state park to our home, it was the first one to get checked off the list. This is a 3 mile trail located in the heart of the Twin Cities and has great views of where the Minnesota river and Mississippi river meet. Here are the few pictures I took on the Fort Snelling Hiking Club trail.

On the way to the Fort Snelling State Park’s Hiking Club trail.
Got to love Mondays! ;-p
Sign on the bridge pointing towards the head of the Hiking Club trail. It was also a Monday. 😉
Flood marker on Pike Island.
Hiking Club password. Half way point.

Keep an eye out for some snails on the trails!
